Groups Host Pre-Screening of Mockingjay: Part 2 for Jewish Teens

Five groups serving Jewish teens in 6th-12th grade are hosting an exclusive pre-screening of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2” at AMC Columbia 14 on Thursday, Nov. 19. The movie begins at 7 p.m., and doors open at 6 p.m.

Admission is $9 plus $5 to purchase a holiday meal for a person who is homeless or a contribution of three items of non-perishable food for Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center. Cash donations will be accepted the night of the movie. Purchase tickets at bbyo.org/hunger/hoco.

Non-perishable goods sought are boxed pasta, canned hearty (non-condensed) soups, instant oatmeal, Chef Boyardee products, canned beef stew and chili, peanut butter and canned fruit.

The sponsors are BBYO in Howard County, Beth Shalom, the Columbia Jewish Congregation, Temple Isaiah and the Jewish Federation of Howard County.
